About NSAI . . .

NSAI is a not-for-profit trade association devoted to the service of songwriters. Established in 1967 by professional songwriters in Nashville,NSAI now numbers more than 4500 members worldwide.
    NSAI exists to provide information & guidance on the songwriting process; to provide opportunities for aspiring songwriters to meet and learn from music industry professionals;
and to lobby for songwriter rights in Washington, D.C.
    Although the primary focus of NSAI is the commercial country music market, support and guidance is provided to songwriters of all styles.  More than any other organization NSAI emphasises education on song craft, through seminars and song camps in Nashville and through the more than 70 regional workshops throughout the country.
